Music, music, music, and music.

Mumford & Sons – The Cave. An inspirational, deep, personal, most amazing song I’ve heard in a while.

Hoodie Allen – Dreams Up. This dude is up and coming to be an amazing pop-rapper so give him a listen

Ryan Keen – Happy Dreamin’. This guy’s unheard of – shout out to Ryan Keen.

Vampire Weekend – The Kids Don’t Stand a Chance. Nothing like Vampire weekend, they’re pure originality.

What a band Mumford and Sons are, I can’t get enough of them …
If they are listed here I’m sure you already know of Bon Iver, Iron and Wine, The National and The Tallest Man On Earth. Those people have a similar indie folksy sound, you might like them too.

Either way good choice in music Robert!

  2. Brett says:

@Devon… I saw Bon Iver live, awesome show, can’t wait to see them again some time. Also saw Iron & Wine live in Miami recently, another awesome show, one of my favorites of 2010 (and I saw a lot in 2010).

Vampire Weekend was a great live, I love their eclectic mix of songs. Not to mention they have a member who is gay, always a plus! I’m going to have to check out more of Mumford & Sons, great sound.

    • Mumford and Sons have a lot of unknown gems out there such as ‘Liar’ which I think only has two youtube videos with that song that I could find. (With how popular they’ve become.)

  3. Mumford & Sons- I gave you all. Very possibly my favorite. Just too emotional.

This is a music review site and they reviewed Mumford & Sons’ debut album. Keep in mind that they score on a scale from 1 to 10. http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/13906-sigh-no-more/

  5. Devon says:

Pitchfork is known for giving incredibly low scores, popular music or even less known music has been kicked around. They like a certain style of music and if its outside of that they score things low. Its okay though, thats what make music great — you can like whatever you like and be a huge fan even if critics aren’t.

  6. Brian says:

Wow, I’m really digging Ryan Keen, thanks for posting the video. Great job with the blog. I’m only a few years older than you guys and it’s heartening to see how things have changed in that short time to where something like this is possible. Keep fighting the good fight.
